Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)

DAY 1: TO ATHENS Departure on your overnight flight to Athens.

DAY 2: ATHENS Arrival at the Athens International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 3: ATHENS (B) After breakfast, depart on an Athens city tour which will introduce you to the most important sites of the city. You will visit the famed Acropolis with its dominating view, and the site of the renowned Parthenon, one of the most impressive structures in the world, followed by a visit to the Acropolis Museum. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 4: ATHENS (B) Day at leisure. You may embark on an optional tour, a shopping spree in the fashionable shops of nearby Kolonaki Square or, simply join the locals and relax by enjoying a cup of strong coffee and watch the people bustling about as they tend to the every day affairs of this modern city. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 5: ATHENS - NAUPLION (B,D) After breakfast, early morning departure by air conditioned motor-coach to start the four-day Classical Tour of Greece. A drive via the Bay of Salamis and the Saronic Gulf will bring you to ancient Corinth. Continue on to Mycenae to see the Lion Gate and the Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon. Then to Epidarus to visit the world renowned theater. Dinner and overnight in Nauplion.

DAY 6: NAUPLION - OLYMPIA (B,D) A morning drive will take you through the Central Peloponnese, Arcadia and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Arrival in Olympia, where you will visit the famous stadium which gave birth to the Olympic Games. You will also visit the impressive Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, and one of the greatest sculptures of all time, “Hermes” by Praxiteles. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.

DAY 7: OLYMPIA - DELPHI (B,D) Today you will drive via the Plains of Ilia and Achaia to Patras, the capital of Peloponnese, and take the ferry from Rion to Antirion. You will pass picturesque Nafpactos, the town of Itea, then continue to Delphi and visit the Castillian Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

DAY 8: DELPHI - ATHENS (B) After breakfast, the morning today is dedicated to the exploration of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Delphi Museum. Free time for lunch and shopping at the local stores. Commence the drive to Athens, passing by the village of Arachova, the towns of Levadia and Thebes. Arrival in Athens early in the evening.

DAY 9: ATHENS - MYKONOS (B) Transfer to port for your hydrofoil ride to Mykonos. Arrival in Mykonos and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 10: MYKONOS (B) Day at leisure to explore the most famous of the Cycladic islands. Its rustic wind-mills, churches, white-washed houses, beautiful beaches and the cosmopolitan nightlife have made Mykonos the island of choice for the rich and famous of the world.

DAY 11: MYKONOS (B) Day at leisure. You may simply relax on one of the nearby beaches, or take a short boat trip to nearby Delos, the legendary birthplace of the ancient God Apollo.

DAY 12: MYKONOS - SANTORINI (B) Today you transfer to the Mykonos port for your short Hydrofoil ride to Santorini. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 13: SANTORINI (B) Day at leisure. The main town, Fira, is a bustling place which invites every one to shop, stroll through its streets or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the volcanic site below.

DAY 14: SANTORINI (B) Full day at leisure to enjoy this distinctive island. Santorini, also known as the Island of Atlantis, has excavations at Akrotiri, a dormant volcano and the black sand beaches. You may enjoy relaxing at the beach and in the evening taking in the sights and sounds of the nightlife in town.

DAY 15: SANTORINI - DEPARTURE (B) Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
