Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)

Day 1 ISTANBUL Upon arrival at Istanbul’s airport you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Then balance the day at leisure to relax or stroll around in this fascinating city.

Day 2 ISTANBUL (B) Set on two continents this ancient city combines its cultures well. A tour of the city takes you to St. Sophia, the 6th century Byzantine Basilica famous for being the largest church of its era, the 17th century Imperial “Blue Mosque” famous for its six minarets and more. On to Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman Sultans now a world famous museum and the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered market with more than 4,000 shops and multitude alleys.

Day 3 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia . After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake, we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay. Optional night tour with a Turkish show is available tonight.

Day 4 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 5 PAMUKKALE (B,D) Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, we continue our drive to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.

Day 6 MARMARIS-RHODES (B) In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and the lime cascade. Then transfer to Marmaris for the ferry to Rhodes. Arrival at your hotel and overnight.

Day 7 RHODES (B) Rhodes, the Island of the Roses, is the largest and most popular of the Dodecanese islands. Explore the Old City, in which the crusading Knights of St. John built their castle and fortifying walls, still standing in excellent condition today. Or visit Lindos, its ancient Acropolis and the inviting sandy beach below.

Day 8 RHODES-CRETE (B) Afternoon flight to Herakleion, Crete. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at leisure.

Day 9 CRETE (B) Day at leisure to visit Knossos and the Herakleion Museum.

Day 10 CRETE-SANTORINI (B) After breakfast, transfer to the port for your ferry ride to Santorini. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Remaining day at leisure.

Day 11 SANTORINI (B) Day at leisure. The main town, Fira, is a bustling place which invites everyone to shop and stroll through its streets or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the volcanic site below.

Day 12 SANTORINI (B) Full day at leisure to enjoy this distinctive island. Santorini, also known as the Island of Atlantis, has excavations at Akrotiri, a dormant volcano, white, red and black sand beaches. You may enjoy relaxing by the beach or take in the sights and sounds and enjoy the nightlife.

Day 13 SANTORINI-ATHENS (B) Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. Arrival in Athens. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 14 ATHENS (B) After breakfast at your hotel depart on a morning city tour which will introduce you to the most important sights in the city including the Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 15: ATHENS - DEPARTURE (B) In the morning you will be transferred to the Athens International Airport for your departure flight to your next destination.
