Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)

Day 1 ISTANBUL Upon arrival at Istanbul’s airport you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Then balance the day at leisure to relax or stroll around in this fascinating city.

Day 2 ISTANBUL (B) Set on two continents this ancient city combines its cultures well. A tour of the city takes you to St. Sophia, the 6th century Byzantine Basilica famous for being the largest church of its era, the 17th century Imperial “Blue Mosque” famous for its six minarets and more. On to Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman Sultans now a world famous museum and the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered market with more than 4,000 shops and multitude alleys.

Day 3 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia . After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake , we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.Optinal night tour with a Turkish show is avaliable tonight.

Day 4 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) Early in the morning an optional Balloon touris available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 5 PAMUKKALE (B,D) Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, we continue our drive to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.

Day 6 MARMARIS-ANTALYA (B) In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and the lime cascade .Transfer to Marmaris for the ferry to Rhodes or to Antalya/Marmaris for your leisure. End of tour and on to your next destination.
