Itinerary (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner)
DAY 1: TO ATHENS Departure on your overnight flight to Athens for your Classical Greece, Greek Island and Turkey Cruise.
DAY 2: ATHENS Arrival at the Athens International Airport and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 3: ATHENS (B) Leave the hotel in the morning for the Athens city tour, which will introduce you to the most important sites of the city. You will visit the famed Acropolis with its dominating view, and the site of the renowned Parthenon, one of the most impressive structures in the world. Then there will be a visit to the Acropolis Museum. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 4: ATHENS - CAPE SOUNION (B): Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, depart from hotel and drive along the beautiful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza. Visit the Temple of Poseidon located on a cliff overlooking the Aegean sea. At Cape Sounion you get a breathtaking view from the Doric columns of the 5th-century-BC temple. (Next to the Poseidon temple are the remains of a smaller temple dedicated to Athena Sounias.) A few yards away, the land drops 200 ft/60 m to the sea below. |

DAY 5: ATHENS (B) Day at leisure to visit the National Archaeological Museum or perhaps stroll the old center streets of Athens for some last minute souvenirs before your cruise departure. |

DAY 6: ATHENS - 4 DAY CRUISE (B) After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Piraeus to embark on your 4-day Greek Island cruise.
DAY 6: MYKONOS (D) The first port of call today will be the jet set island of Mykonos. Stroll at leisure through the white-washed, flower-decked alleyways to the sculpture like church of Paraportiani, or along the waterfront to the famous windmills.
DAY 7: KUSADASI - PATMOS (B,L,D) Early morning arrival into Kusadasi, a most popular Turkish port and gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus. See the greatest Greek and Romanesque ruins in Ephesus. In the afternoon, your ship will call at the island of Patmos. Here you can visit the Monastery of St. John, where the Book of Revelations was written.
DAY 8: RHODES (B,L,D) Early morning arrival into Rhodes, the island of Roses. You will spend a full day on the island to explore on your own or embark on an optional sightseeing tour. Or simply hire a taxi and go to one of the nearby beaches for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean.

DAY 9: HERAKLEION - SANTORINI (B,L,D) In the morning the ship will call at Herakleion, Crete. Here you may choose to discover the town on your own or embark on an optional excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, followed by a visit to the Herakleion Museum. The next destination today is the island of Santorini, the land of the fabled Atlantis. After strolling through the narrow streets of the town, enjoy the breathtaking view of the volcanic site below while sipping a cool refreshment.
DAY 10: ATHENS (B) Early morning arrival in Piraeus. After disembarkation you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
