Day 1 ROME Overnight International flight to Rome with all meals on board. Day 2 ROME You will be welcomed by our representatives and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day on your own to get acquainted with this lovely city. Day 3 ROME (B) An introduction to Rome with a morning tour to the most famous sites of the city. Quirinal Palace, the famous Trevi fountain, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, visit the Pantheon and the Basilica of St. Peter and more. The afternoon is free to explore on your own. |

Day 4 NAPLES-POMPEII-SORRENTO-ROME (B,L) Naples, bubbling with color and vitality, heart of the romantic south and birthplace of Caruso. Pompeii, the excavations vividly reveal life 19 centuries ago. Finally a breathtaking coastal drive to beautiful Sorrento. Return to Rome for overnight.
Day 5 ROME (B) On your own for shopping, sightseeing or just relaxing in this spectacular city.
Day 6 ROME-SIENA-FLORENCE (B,D) The medieval city of Siena in the heart of the region of Tuscany awaits. Visits include the famous Piazza del Campo and the Duomo. Continue to Florence the city of the Renaissance for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 FLORENCE-PISA-FLORENCE (B,D) As you visit the Duomo, the Baptistery’s Gates of Paradise and Michelangelo’s David, you will be in awe of the artistic genius which flourished here. This afternoon, visit the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Return to Florence for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 FLORENCE-PADUA-VENICE (B,D) We head north this morning to the city of Padua to visit the 13th century Basilica of St. Antony. Then continue on to Venice for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 VENICE (B,D) This remarkable floating city boasts the most extraordinary collection of architectural styles. Your walking tour includes the Doge’s Palace, Basilica San Marco and Cathedral. A free afternoon to perhaps explore the city of canals, palaces, gondolas, romance and fantasy on your own. Day 10 VENICE-VERONA-LAKE GARDA-MILAN (B) Westward to Verona to see the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet. Later an enjoyable visit to glorious Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, surrounded by gently sloping hillsides. Then, on to Milan for overnight. Day 11 MILAN (B) A historical and artistic introduction to the city this morning. Highlights include la Scala Opera House, the Duomo, Leonardo’s last supper, the Cathedral and more. The afternoon is free for your own activities, perhaps some more sightseeing, last moment shopping or just to relax. |

Day 12 MILAN (B) A fond farewell. After breakfast this morning transfer to Milan’s airport for your flight home.
