Eight nights hotel accommodations (Rome 4, Florence 2, Venice 2) in four star hotels with breakfast daily. Full day tour of Rome. Five days escorted touring of Northern Italy. All transfers and baggage handling. Sightseeing by air conditioned motor coach with English speaking tour escorts and local guides. Hotel service charges and taxes. Entrance fees to all sites as per itinerary. Host service in Rome. Meals as per itinerary: Breakfast (8), Dinner (4).

Day 1 ROME Depart via overnight International flight to Rome with all meals enroute.

Day 2 ROME You will be welcomed by our representatives and transferred to your hotel. On your own to get acquainted with this lively city.

Day 3 ROME (B) Rome is ancient, modern, sophisticated, religious, cosmopolitan and historical. Your full day tour touches on each of its many faces. The Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Basilica of St. Peter, Capitoline Hill with a panoramic view of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Basilica of St. Paul outside the world and church of St. Peter in chains with Michelangelo statue of Moses and more.

Day 4 ASSISI-SIENA-FLORENCE (B,D) Today we travel north to the birthplace of St. Francis, visit the Basilica containing one of the most imposing series of frescoes and the church of Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Proceed to Siena for lunch (optional) and visit the characteristic alleys, the medieval Centre and the famous Piazza del Campo. Then we continue to Florence for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 FLORENCE (B,D) Today we’ll visit the city of Michelangelo, fountain head of the Renaissance, rich in history and artistic wealth, a paradise for art lovers and shopping enthusiasts. Highlights include the Baptistry, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Belltower and Signoria square. The afternoon is at leisure for your own activities, you may choose to continue exploring the city on your own or perhaps an optional tour to Piza’s Leaning Tower. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

Day 6 PADUA-VENICE (B,D) Morning at leisure. Depart by early afternoon to Padua to visit the 13th century Basilica of St. Antony. Continue to Venice for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 VENICE (B,D) You will be transferred by boat this morning to St. Mark’s Square to start your walking tour of this floating city. Highlights include the Basilica and square of St. Mark, Doge’s Palace, Riva degli Schiavoni, the Bridge of Sighs. The afternoon is at leisure for shopping or a scenic gondola ride (optional). Overnight in Venice.

Day 8 BOLOGNA-SAN MARINO-ROME (B) Motorcoach south this morning to Bologna. A short stop will be made for a tour of the city before continuing to San Marino, a country within a country, and one of the oldest republics in Europe. Free time for lunch (optional) before we resume our journey to Rome for overnight.

Day 9 ROME (B) Sleep late this morning. Enjoy a full free day on this your last day in Rome. So much to see and do.

Day 10 ROME (B) After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight back to home.
