Nine nights hotel accommodations (Rome 6, Sorrento 2, Florence 1) with breakfast daily. Three day escorted tour to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii & Capri. Two day escorted tour to Florence. Guided city tour of Rome. All transfers by private car with baggage handling. All hotel service charges and taxes. Sightseeing by air conditioned motor coach with English speaking professional tour escorts and local guides. Entrance fees to all sites as per itinerary. Host service in Rome. Day 1 ROME Depart via overnight International flight to Rome with all meals enroot.

Day 2 ROME Upon arrival at Rome’s airport, you will we be welcomed by our representatives and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day on your own to get acquainted with this lively city.

Day 3 ROME (B) Enjoy an introduction to historical Rome with a morning tour. Featured sights are the famed Trevi Fountain, Piazza della Republica, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Basilica of St. Peter. The afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 4 NAPLES-POMPEII-SORRENTO (B,L,D) Morning departure via the panoramic “Highway of the Sun” to beautiful Naples for a tour of the city. The excavations at Pompeii afford us a memorable experience, taking us back hundreds of years. Spectacular scenery awaits as we drive along the coastline to romantic Sorrento for overnight.

Day 5 SORRENTO (B,D) A full day at leisure in beautiful Sorrento.

Day 6 SORRENTO-CAPRI-ROME (B,L) View clusters of pastel villas as our steamer approaches the island of Capri. Visit the beautiful Blue Grotto by rowboat (weather permitting). Enjoy the sites of picturesque Marina Grande and Anacapri. Time for lunch on your own. Return by boat to Sorrento, continuing to Rome for overnight.

Day 7 ROME (B) Rome is ancient, modern, religious, historical and cosmopolitan. Today you are on your own to explore this fascinating city.

Day 8 ROME-FLORENCE (B,L) Early morning departure for Florence, fountain-head of the Renaissance, rich in history and artistic wealth. Highlights of the tour include the Academy with Michelangelo’s 'David', the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Giotto’s Bell Tower, Piazza della Signoria and the Baptistry. Lunch at a typical restaurant. In the Afternoon proceed to Santa Croce Square to visit a leather factory before proceeding to Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Overnight in Florence.

Day 9 FLORENCE-ROME (B) Sleep late today. A day at leisure to explore the city of arts. Maybe a visit to the gold and silver artisans along the Ponte Vecchio or to one of the famous museums of this great city. Late Afternoon you will start your journey back to Rome.

Day 10 ROME (B) A full day at leisure. Time for some last moment shopping or continue to explore the city, perhaps Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, the famous Gardens and Fountains of Tivoli and the villa d’Este - the choices are yours.

Day 11 ROME (B) A fond farewell. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
