Itinerary (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner)

DAY 1: Departure on your overnight flight to Athens.

DAY 2: ISTANBUL Arrival at Istanbul International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 3: ISTANBUL (B) After breakfast at your hotel depart on a a full day city tour. Visit St. Sophia, masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, built in the 6th century by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian. After lunch visit Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman Sultans (now a world famous museum), the Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent and the Grand Bazaar. Return to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 4: ISTANBUL (B,D) Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the pier and embark on your cruise ship. Overnight onboard.

DAY 5: MYKONOS (B,L,D) Noon arrival at the jet-set island of Mykonos. Stroll through the white-washed alleyways decorated with flowers to the church of Paraportiani, or along the waterfront to the famous windmills.

DAY 6: PATMOS - KUSADASI (B,L,D) Early morning arrival to the island of Patmos. Here you can visit the Monastery of St. John and the Grotto, where the Book of Revelations was written. Afternoon arrival into the Turkish port of Kusadasi. Disembark and look for bargains at the local bazaar’s leather shops, or go on an optional excursion to Ephessos, the most complete ancient city ever excavated. See the greatest Greek and Romanesque ruins in Ephesus.

DAY 7: RHODES (B,L,D) Early morning arrival into Rhodes, the island of Roses. You will spend a full day on the island to explore on your own or embark on an optional sightseeing tour. Or simply hire a taxi and go to one of the nearby beaches for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean.

DAY 8: AY. NIKOLAOS, CRETE - SANTORINI (B,L,D) Morning arrival to the picturesque port of Ayios Nikolaos, at the Island of Crete. Full day to visit some of the pre-Hellenic remains of the Minoan Civilization on the island. Noon departure for the island of Santorini, the land of the fabled Atlantis. After strolling through the narrow streets of the town, enjoy the breathtaking view of the volcanic site below while sipping a cool refreshment.

DAY 9: ATHENS (B) Early morning arrival into Piraeus, the main port of Athens. After disembarkation you will be transferred to Athens for a morning city tour which will introduce you to the most important sights in the city including the famed Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. Afternoon at leisure and overnight in Athens.

DAY 11: ATHENS (B) Day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 12: ATHENS - DEPARTURE (B) After breakfast transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
